We are an English high school that is part of the Lester B. Pearson School Board located on Champlain Boulevard in Verdun. Beurling Academy is named after Verdun born and raised George “Buzz” Beurling, who holds the honour of being the most successful Canadian fighter pilot of the Second World War.
Our aim is to have our students emulate Buzz’s passion, initiative and zest for life. To that end, we are all about educating, engaging and empowering every student in our care so that they can achieve academic and personal success. We want our students to “Believe and Succeed” just like their school’s namesake.
