There have been a few cases of lice in different grade levels in the past couple of weeks at school. We would ask that parents check your children's hair for lice and advise the school if any were found.
There have been updates in the recommended treatments in the past year regarding lice, including a new product on the market that kills the nits quite effectively. Here is the link to the most updated information available: http://publications.msss.gouv.qc.ca/acrobat/f/documentation/2013/13-276-01A.pdf
If your child has lice, please do not forget to check everyone's head in the same household, including yourself.
If have any further questions or require additional information, please call 8-1-1.
If lice persist despite treatments, please call the school nurse, who is present on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, who can assist you in troubleshooting the issue.
