MUSIC

MUSIC 100, 204

Secondary music education follows up on the learning acquired at the elementary level, no matter which artistic disciplines students were introduced to. It is based on elements common to the four arts subjects that it develops further and consolidates. Secondary music education encourages students to develop their creative potential, artistic sensibility, performing and listening skills, as well as the ability to express themselves and communicate through music. The secondary music program involves the development of two complementary and interdependent competencies.

  • Appreciates musical works
